Jerusha loved God, her family, and a host of incredible friends.  Known for her wit, intelligence,and loyalty, Jerusha lit up every room with her beautiful smile she entered and left everyone she touched better than they were before she met them.

Jerusha attended D.E.C.A HS and played basketball at Colonel White HS (Dayton OH) and Mars Hill College in North Carolina.

 

During her time with us, Jerusha dedicated her life to spreading love and encouragement to everyone she encountered, especially the youth she worked with. Having received a BS in Biology from Wright State and her MS in Public Health Administrating from the University of Cincinnati, Jerusha had an immense passion for education and was striving to start medical school after completing seminary at the Moody Bible Institute. However, it was her walk with Jesus Christ every day that inspired Jerusha to give back to the community and to other students who could use counseling and guidance through their own journey.

 

She spread God’s word and love to everyone she encountered.  Her thoughts, feelings, goals and dreams were often expressed through her journaling and blogging. Her love for family and friends was unapologetically genuine.  Her daily walk made each person feel they were the most important to her.
